Series WMC

Simple

  • Select your preferred screen color from the tool bar menu. The intuitive layout allows simple navigation of the on-screen features without constant reference to the user’s manual. Display language can be changed at any time. Choose from English, Japanese, or Chinese.
  • Internal wiring has been simplified, and one circuit board type is now used across all circuits–control, temperature input, power output, and protection circuits. Maintenance is a cinch.
  • WMC’s memory function allows you to switch molds with the touch of a button. Program the molding parameters for each mold for up to three molding conditions: Start-up 1, Start-up 2, Production. The Starter function creates a seamless link with the molding press operation to maximize the benefit of all molding functions.
  • Operates across a power source range of AC200-AC240V without the need for conversion components. Adjustment is made on the transformer’s input terminals.

Durable

  • Conforms to CE standards. (RoHS compliant) Designed to withstand ambient noise as well as radio interference.
  • Light isolation sensor-equipped input circuit achieves a dielectric strength of 400V. Circuit boards are protected from current overload caused by unexpected electric surges or mis-wiring.
  • In addition to temperature control, fixed output control is also available. Even in case of sensor burn-out, this fixed output control guarantees uninterrupted production.

  • The tip heater’s closed-loop current control ensures stable production even in overseas environments with unsteady power supply.
  • The temperature sensor and current measurement circuit are digitally calibrated to prevent aging and ensure long-lasting accuracy.
  • SEIKI’s Sentinel technology monitors the entire system for any abnormality, sounding the alarm or stopping the molding machine if trouble occurs with a heater or any peripheral equipment.

Precise

  • Highly accurate temperature control. A 15-bit A/D converter yields internal processing capacity as precise as 0.1℃.
  • Employs a true RMS current control circuit, to provide precise current control even under poor or unstable power source conditions.
  • Since all heaters are constantly monitored, operation problems like material leakage, faulty sensors, and difficult-to-detect manifold heater burn-out, can be caught before it’s too late.
